1. Administration of Research Apartments
Apartments for guest researchers at Chalmers are not published on our webpage.
They are administered by International Staff Mobility (ISMO) at Chalmers in collaboration with us.
We are not responsible for selecting who gets the apartments; this is entirely managed by ISMO.
2. Contacting ISMO
Guest researchers at Chalmers should contact ISMO for:
– Joining the housing queue
– Questions about apartments and contracts

3. Tenancy Contract Limitations
– Maximum tenancy for research apartments:
2 years.
For details about the tenancy limitations, possible extensions, or termination, please contact ISMO.
4. After the Tenancy Period Ends
If you require an apartment after your research-apartment tenancy period, you can apply for our regular apartments.

5. Housing Queue and Points System
– Tenancy contracts are offered based on the queue points collected.
– It usually takes 1.5–2 years to receive your first contract offer.
– Apartments are published on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
If you continue as a Ph.D. student, the tenancy limitation can be extended.
Please submit your employment agreement confirming your continuation.
