Master Key – How does it work?
Have you been informed that we
need access to your apartment?
Here we explain how the master

means.

You can easily indicate this in the response form. In emergency situations, such as a water leak or other risk to the property, we may need to enter without prior consent. |

Questions & Answers
When We Need to Access Your Apartment
We are always committed to maintaining and
improving our apartments to provide you with
the best possible living environment.
In order to carry out certain types of work in
your apartment, we sometimes need access
to your home when you are not there.
This may include repairs, installations, or
other essential maintenance tasks.
Below are examples of work that may require
access to your apartment.
OVK is a statutory inspection carried out regularly to ensure
that the ventilation system is functioning properly.
Proper ventilation is important for maintaining a good
indoor environment and reduces the risk of problems
with moisture, poor air quality and odours.
Heating system adjustment is carried out to ensure that
heat is distributed evenly and efficiently throughout the
building. During the balancing process, the flow rates in
the heating system are checked and adjusted to ensure
that all apartments receive the right amount of heat.
This helps provide a more even and comfortable indoor
temperature while reducing unnecessary energy use.
Radon measurements are carried out as part of our
statutory responsibility to monitor radon levels in
our properties. Radon is an invisible and odourless
gas that can pose a health risk at elevated levels.
Measurements are carried out in a selection of
apartments to identify any elevated radon levels
and, if necessary, allow appropriate measures to
be taken.
We may need access to your apartment to carry out
bed bug inspections using a specially trained
detection dog.
These inspections are part of our recurring random
inspections carried out in different properties each
year. They are conducted as a preventive measure
to help detect any signs of bed bugs at an early stage.
When Legal Requirements ApplyTo make sure the indoor air is fresh and the ventilation systems work properly, a regular OVK – mandatory ventilation inspection – is carried out. This inspection is required by Swedish law and ensures that the building meets today’s standards and that the systems are well maintained. Think of it as a health check-up for the building – so you can breathe easy at home. If you don’t want us to use the |
If we send SMS messages, the sender will
appear as CSB.
When access to an apartment is required, the
person living in the apartment at the time
for the visit must approve access.
For subleasing, this applies only once the sublet
has been approved and registered.
Until then, the first-hand tenant is considered
the tenant.
Our notifications are always based on the tenant
details registered at the time the message is sent.
If the work is approaching and we haven’t received
your response, we’ll leave a note on your door
with a QR code linking to the response form.
To avoid this step, we kindly ask you to respond
on time.
