Apartment storage
Many of our apartments have a storage unit where you
can store belongings that you do not need to keep in
your apartment. You may also have the option to rent
an additional storage unit. Here you can find
information about your storage unit, how to
store your belongings safely and what you need
to keep in mind.
Storage unit included with your apartment
Some apartments have a separate storage unit. In other apartments,
the storage space is located inside the apartment.
Does my apartment have a storage unit?
You can find information about whether storage units are included
with the apartments on the page for your residential area.
Make sure you are using the correct storage unit
If a storage unit is included with your apartment, it is usually marked
with the same number as your apartment. Always check the number
before you start using the storage unit.
If you rent a separate storage unit, you can find the storage unit number
in your rental agreement. Make sure that the number on the storage
unit matches the number in your agreement.
This will help you avoid accidentally using someone else’s storage unit.
Always lock your storage unit
You are responsible for locking your storage unit. It must be locked
even if it is empty or not currently in use.
Store your belongings safely
Avoid storing belongings directly on the floor. In the event of a water leak,
keeping your belongings on shelves or raised off the floor can help reduce
the risk of damage.
Keep all your belongings inside your own storage unit. Corridors and
other common areas must be kept clear.
What can I store in my storage unit?
For fire safety reasons, there are restrictions on what can be stored in
storage units. Flammable or explosive materials must not be stored in
basement or attic storage units.
Home insurance
Remember that your home insurance is also important for belongings
stored in your storage unit. Coverage may vary between insurance policies,
so check the terms and conditions with your insurance provider.
Problems with your storage unit?
If you discover a water leak, damage or any other problem in or near
your storage unit, please submit a fault report.
If you have any questions about your storage unit or rental agreement,
please contact Customer Service.
Would you like to rent a storage unit?
As a tenant with a first-hand rental contract, you can rent one additional
storage unit, even if a storage unit is already included with your apartment.
On the Available storage page, you can find currently available
storage units and information about prices, applications and rentals.
