Welcome home!
Moving into a new apartment and perhaps a new country is exciting, and we get it – there’s a lot to keep track of! Maybe it’s even your first time living on your own? No worries! We’ve gathered everything you need to know on this page so you can focus on the fun parts.

1. Collecting Your Keys
Pick up your keys at our Customer Service Office from 14:00 on the first day of your contract.
Remember to bring a valid ID! Contract details, including dates, can be found on My Pages.

Can’t make it? No problem—fill out this form to authorize a friend to collect the keys for you.
2. Rent and Payments
What’s Included?
Check your contract to see if electricity and hot water are included in your rent (varies by building).
Furniture, internet, and tenant association fees are added to the base rent.
For Gibraltar Guest House and Gibraltargatan 84-92, electricity and hot water are adjusted based on usage.
Payment Details
Pay rent by card at the Customer Service Office. Rent adjustments are reviewed yearly through negotiations.

3. Home Insurance
You’ll need valid home insurance for your entire rental period. It covers damages like fire or your belongings.

4. Register Your Address
Update your address with the Swedish Tax Agency when you move in.
Roommates also need to register, even if only one name is on the contract.
5. Furniture and Extras
All apartments come with a furnished kitchen and bathroom.
Want extras? Here’s what you can get:
– Extra mattress: 900 SEK
– Duvet: 200 SEK
– Pillow: 50 SEK
– Bedding: 100 SEK

Login Details
If you don’t have a Swedish Social Security number, you need to log in with your date of birth and the ID written in the contract. Normally it ends with 0P (YYMMDD0P), but if someone else has the same birthdate, you might get nr 1P, 2P, 4P, etc. in the end, so please check the contract.
Password Reset
You will need to make a password reset under “First visit”.
When you get a Social Security number, email us a copy of your ID so we can update our system.
Remember to also update your details with the Chalmers Student Union.
7. Reporting Faults
Found something wrong in your apartment? Report it via My Pages.

8. The Council of Trustees
Get access to the party room, Movie and music room etc.

9. Pool & Terraces
At Gibraltargatan 80 there is a pool facility with pool and sauna for women and men.
In our houses at Gibraltargatan 80 there is a terrace you can use as a tenant at Gibraltargatan
You do not need to book the terrace since it is open for dropin between 08.00-00.00, however
you need to apply for access on your key tag.
