FR – For You as a Tenant
- Automatic Membership: As a primary tenant, you are automatically a member of the Tenant Council.
- Rent Negotiations & Improvements: Negotiates your rent annually and collaborates with Chalmers Student Housing to improve residential areas.
- Operational Grant: Used for community events such as courtyard parties and activities for tenants.
- Access to Facilities: As a member, you can use several shared spaces:
- Party Room & Billiard Room (Emilsborg) – Perfect for gatherings or a game night.
- Cinema Room (Blåelden) – Watch movies with friends on a big screen.
- Music Room (Emilsborg) – Practice or play instruments with others.
- Tool Renting – Borrow tools when needed.
The party room
The function room Fritids, situated at Emilsborg, is perfect for birthday parties or other functions.
Directly adjacent to Fritids there is also a billiards room where you can play billiards with friends,
or why not arrange a billiards tournament with neighbors?
Movie Room
In our property Blåelden, Dr. Wigardhs gata 2, you will find the movie room Blåkvarn which has a home theatre system.
You can watch movies here with your friends in comfort.
Music room
If you are musical, or if you want to be, you can practice in the music room which is located on Emilsborg.
There are also some instruments and a PA system available if you should wish to practice with your friends.
Tool renting and activities
The Council of Trustees also has other facilities, such as renting out tools for tenants at Chalmers Studentbostäder and activities.
