Are you a newly admitted student at Chalmers University of Technology and looking for student housing in Gothenburg for the fall? If so, this page is for you.

Chalmers Studentbostäder reserves a number of apartments each year for newly admitted students.
The apartments are allocated by lottery, but you need to be registered in our housing queue to apply.
The apartments consist of one room and a kitchen with a maximum rent of 6,500 SEK/month, distributed throughout our properties.

This is how it works.

1. Expression of interest

• Send one (1) email to nyantagen.chalmers@chalmersstudentbostader.se
  Note, the account is only for collecting expressions of interest, questions are not handled there.
• You will receive an automatic confirmation email.
• The last day to register is July 31st.

Remember to send the email from the same address you have registered on My Pages for your application to be processed. It’s enough to email once (1).

2. Selection

The selection is done randomly where we match the email addresses with our housing queue and Chalmers’ admission list. Make sure your contact information is up to date on My Pages.

3. Offer

If you are offered an apartment, you will be contacted by us via email when the admission lists from Chalmers are ready in early August. If you do not hear from us, you were not allocated an apartment but are of course welcome to apply through our housing queue.

• It is not possible to choose an apartment.
• Accept or decline the offer you receive.
• If you decline, it goes to another applicant and you keep your queue points.

4. Contract signing

• When it is time to sign the contract, you sign digitally on My Pages.
• In connection with signing, you upload your admission notice from Chalmers.
• The contract states the date you get access to the apartment. This cannot be changed.
• When the contract is signed, your queue points are reset.
