Subleasing & sharing

Are you going to sublet your apartment or do you have questions about whether you can have a live-in? Here you will find, among other things, information and forms for secondary applications.

Subleasing

There is a possibility to sublease your apartment if you are going to study abroad etc. To sublease your apartment, please read the information form and fill the appropriate form below. The application is made in writing and needs to be handed to us no later than one month before you plan to sublease your apartment.

If you have a Masters apartment, Research apartment, or other Short term contracts, you need to contact us since you have a special contract where there are other rules for subleasing.

Both the primary tenant and the subtenant need to fulfill our tenancy requirements. This means that both of you need to be a student at Chalmers University of Technology or the University of Gothenburg and be a member of the student union at your university. Please hand in your application to our customer service office, the processing time is four weeks. You will need approval from us to sublease your apartment. During the last time of your renting period, there is no possibility to sublease your apartment.

Sharing the apartment

There is a possibility to share your apartment with a partner or a roommate. However, only one person is on the contract.
