Akademiska Hus is investing in a new student
housing project – Mira – right next to Campus
Johanneberg. The building will provide homes
for more than 300 students, and Chalmers
Studentbostäder will be responsible for rentals
and interior maintenance.
The house will be eight stories tall and include
classic one-room apartments, duo apartments,
and larger shared apartments for up to six people.
On the ground floor, there will be a laundry room,
bicycle parking, a shop, and smaller premises.
The building will have a sustainable profile with
reused bricks, a wooden frame, and solar panels.
Construction will start in 2026, with move-in
planned for winter 2027.
“We are very pleased to welcome Mira into our
portfolio. The need for more housing is great,
and with this project we can offer even more
students a home close to campus.
Mira will be a place that fosters community,
well-being, and a vibrant student life in
Johanneberg,” says Joakim Wallin,
CEO of Chalmers Studentbostäder.
