On December 1 everyone is encouraged to test their firealarms to check that they are working.
Test the fire alarm by pressing the test button, then the entire function of the fire alarm is checked, not just the battery.
If the smoke alarm does not beep when you press the test button, the battery may be empty.
If the fire alarm does not work when you have tested it, you are welcome to make a fault report on My Pages.
