    <\/a>Our cooperation with Chalmers <\/a>\u2192<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    1. Termination of Tenancy Contract<\/h3>\n

    Contract duration
    \n<\/strong>All contracts get a date of termination upon signing but it may be possible
    \nto terminate the contract before the final date of the contract.<\/p>\n

    Contact ISMO\u00a0<\/strong>
    \nTermination must be in writing or via email and must be submitted by
    \nthe primary tenant, i.e., the institution ISMO at Chalmers.<\/p>\n

    The period of notice is three calendar months.<\/p>\n

    If you want to terminate your contract, you need to contact Chalmers,
    \ninstitution ISMO at\u00a0<\/span>    ismo.stodet@chalmers.se<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    Moving out<\/strong>
    \n<\/span>Moving out must take place no later than 10.00 on the first working
    \nday after the turn of the month.<\/p>\n

    All keys must be handed in at our Customer Service Office. The apartment
    \nmust be cleaned thoroughly, and all faults must be reported to Chalmers
    \nStudentbost\u00e4der.<\/p>\n

    If extra expenses are incurred in connection with moving out, the
    \ndepartment will be charged for this.<\/p>\n

    Example:<\/strong> If a tenancy contract is terminated in May,
    \nthe period of notice will run until 31 August. <\/em>The tenant
    \nis required to move out by 10.00 at the latest on the
    \nfirst working day in September.
    \n<\/em><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    2. Technical Inspection<\/h3>\n

    Before you move out
    \n<\/strong>An inspection of your apartment will be done to check for damage and
    \nthat everything that should be in the apartment is there.<\/p>\n

    You will receive an email from your housing host when the inspection
    \nwill be made. If your apartment is damaged or in the case of abnormal
    \nwear, you might need to pay for repairing it.<\/p>\n

    Before the inspection<\/strong>, please make sure that everything that came
    \nwith the apartment is there. This could be hat racks, curtain rails, etc.<\/p>\n

    Instruction Manuals<\/strong>
    \nIf you were handed instruction manuals when moving in, please leave
    \nthem for the next tenant.<\/p>\n

    Furniture<\/strong>
    \nIf you rented a furnished apartment, please make sure that all the
    \nfurnishings are there when you move out.<\/p>\n

    3. Cleaning<\/h3>\n

    When you have emptied your apartment<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and handed in your keys,
    \na cleaning inspection will be made.<\/p>\n

    Balcony and or a storage<\/strong>
    \nIf you have a balcony and\/or a storage unit, remember to empty it of your belongings
    \nand clean it thoroughly when moving out.<\/p>\n

    No Re-cleaning\u00a0<\/strong>
    \nUnfortunately, there is no possibility to go back and clean your apartment if the
    \ncleaning inspection is not approved.<\/p>\n

    Cleaning service – Vital St\u00e4d
    \n<\/strong>We have a cooperation with the cleaning company Vital St\u00e4d.
    \n    <\/a>Hire Vital St\u00e4d <\/a>\u2192<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

    If you choose to hire Vital St\u00e4d, they will clean your apartment properly and
    \nthe cleaning inspection will be approved.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    4. Handing Back the Keys<\/h3>\n

    All keys\u00a0given to you when moving in must be handed back to our Customer Service
    \nOffice. Your keys must be handed in at 10.00 am<\/strong> the first weekday the month
    \nafter your contract ends. If your last day is on a weekend or bank holiday, the keys
    \nmust be handed in the next weekday by 10 am at the latest.<\/p>\n

    Key deposit<\/strong>
    \nIf we are closed, you can put the keys in the key deposit on the door at Chalmers
    \nStudentbost\u00e4der Customer Service.<\/p>\n

    5. Change of Address<\/h3>\n

    When you move out, you will need to change your address at the Tax Office (Skatteverket), which is easily done on their webpage.<\/p>\n

    \nTo receive your mail at your new address, please change your address a couple of weeks before you move.<\/p>\n
