      Subleasing Opportunity:<\/strong>
      You can sublease your apartment if, for example, you\u2019re studying abroad. To sublease, fill out the appropriate form and submit it at least one month before your planned sublease.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Special Contracts:<\/strong>
      If you have a Masters apartment, Research apartment, or a short-term contract, contact us as these contracts have different subleasing rules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Tenancy Requirements:<\/strong>
      For subleasing during the terms, both the primary tenant and the subtenant must be students at Chalmers University of Technology or the University of Gothenburg, and members of the student union. Special rules apply during the summer. (June, July, August).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Application and process time:<\/strong>
      \nApplications are processed in about four weeks. You need approval from us to sublease. You cannot sublease during the final part of your rental period.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. Legal relationship:<\/strong>
      \nIn subletting, your rental relationship is with the person who rents your apartment. We have a legal relationship with you as the primary tenant and cannot assist with disputes regarding rent or other matters. If a dispute arises, you need to contact the rent tribunal.\n\n\n\n\n

      New Law (from October 1, 2019):<\/strong>
      There are stricter rules for subletting without permission and\/or charging excessive rent.<\/p>\n
