\nyour apartment. You may also have the option to rent
\nan additional storage unit. Here you can find
\ninformation about your storage unit, how to

Storage unit included with your apartment<\/h2>\n

Some apartments have a separate storage unit. In other apartments,
\nthe storage space is located inside the apartment.<\/p>\n

Does my apartment have a storage unit?<\/strong>
You can find information about whether storage units are included
\nwith the apartments on the page for your residential area.<\/p>\n

Make sure you are using the correct storage unit<\/h3>\n

If a storage unit is included with your apartment, it is usually marked
\nwith the same number as your apartment. Always check the number
\nbefore you start using the storage unit.<\/p>\n

If you rent a separate storage unit, you can find the storage unit number
\nin your rental agreement. Make sure that the number on the storage
\nunit matches the number in your agreement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will help you avoid accidentally using someone else’s storage unit.<\/p>\n

Always lock your storage unit<\/h3>\n

You are responsible for locking your storage unit. It must be locked
\neven if it is empty or not currently in use.<\/p>\n

Store your belongings safely<\/h3>\n

Avoid storing belongings directly on the floor. In the event of a water leak,
\nkeeping your belongings on shelves or raised off the floor can help reduce
\nthe risk of damage.<\/p>\n

Keep all your belongings inside your own storage unit. Corridors and
\nother common areas must be kept clear.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What can I store in my storage unit?<\/h3>\n

For fire safety reasons, there are restrictions on what can be stored in
\nstorage units. Flammable or explosive materials must not be stored in
\nbasement or attic storage units.<\/p>\n

Home insurance<\/h3>\n

Remember that your home insurance is also important for belongings
\nstored in your storage unit. Coverage may vary between insurance policies,
\nso check the terms and conditions with your insurance provider.<\/p>\n

If you discover a water leak, damage or any other problem in or near
\nyour storage unit<\/strong>, please submit a fault report.<\/p>\n

As a tenant with a first-hand rental contract, you can rent one additional
