Concerning the current debate on subleasing via Airbnb or similar and purchase of sexual activities, we would like to remind all of our tenants that it is illegal to sublease your apartment without our permission and/or sublease your apartment with a too high monthly fee. On the 1st of October 2019, a new law passed, which means further restrictions on unlawful subleasing. If you sublease your apartment without our permission, thus illicit, we have the right to terminate your tenancy contract without warning, and you could face criminal charges, such as a fine or jail. Moreover, your home insurance does not cover any costs for damage in your apartment if you sublet illicit.
