Charming apartments in a turn-of-the-century building.
Opposite the main entrance to Chalmers University of Technology. A hundred metres from the student´s union building – a 10,000 square metre “living room” for all students. Gothenburg city centre within walking and cycling distance.
The area is one of the last remaining block of country governor residences in Gothenburg.
Between 1999 and 2001 these residences were converted with care into apartments suitable for modern student life. The apartments have high ceilings, well preserved stucco work and wooden flooring. There are old tiled stoves in some of the apartments. The cosy yard, with plenty of benches and tables for studying or sharing a coffee break with friends, when the weather permits, is another plus factor.
Sångsvanen was inaugurated in the summer of 2001.
