How do i search for an apartment?

All our apartments are let through Boplats Göteborg. Register as soon as possible as the liklihood of getting an aprtment increases the longer you have been registered. read the rules thoroughly and keep your profile updated. This is a determining factor when you are searching for an aprtment.

Who qualifies for an apartment?

Outr apartments are let out to students at universities and colleges in Göteborg. You must be a member of one of Göteborg´s Student Unions. You can sign a contract when you are 18 years of age but you can register on Boplats when you are 17 years of age. You can stay in our aprtments for a maximum of six years.

Who gets the apartment?

Applicants who have been registered the longest on Boplats are given a tenancy contract for an apartment. To get an aprtament applicants must of course fulfill the requirements stated above and clear a credit check which will be carried out prior to signing the contract.

* You apply for our apartments via www.boplats.se

* Several applicants will be offered a viewing of the aprtment after which they accept or reject the offer.

* Those who have been registered longest and have accepted a contract offer after wiewing will be given the apartment. When you sign the contract all your other interest postings on Boplats will be deleted.

How long do i need to be registered?

It is not possible to give a definite answer to this question. It depends on how many applicants are interested in the aprtment for which you are applying. In low season 6 months may be sufficient while at the beginning of a term 18 months may be required. It is therefor impossible for us to give a definite answer on the lenght of registration from one occasion to another.
