Chalmers Studentbostäders apartaments are equipped with 100Mbps connectivity to our network (also known as "100/100). This means that all tenants have access to a proper broadband connection. It gives such an opportunity for tenants to sit at home and work at their own computer, direvtly connected to the school´s computer system.

Our network is connected to the Internet via the Swedish University network "OptoSUNET" with double gigabit connections. The network has also via Netnod in Gothenburg a separate connection of one gigabit towards most of the Swedish ISP:s, which doesn't load upon the general Internet access via the OptoSUNET connections (this is called "peering"). Tenants receive four public IPv4 addresses per apartment and can apply for more.
